Gruvöns Sawmill is located in Grums, about 20 kilometers west of Karlstad. The sawmill has around 200 employees, including some operational parts that are outsourced. The sawmill produces sawn timber, processed wood, CLT, and has further processing in the form of pellet manufacturing. The production primarily supplies the construction industry with its products. Together with Ala Sawmill in Ljusne, we form Stora Enso Timber AB and are part of Stora Enso's Wood Products division.

Stora Enso's CLT factory in Gruvön is looking for new employees! We are now seeking several new operators who want to be part of our exciting journey and contribute to the production of cross-laminated timber (CLT) for buildings in Sweden and around the world.

As a CLT operator, you will work in a modern and automated production environment, where you handle machines and processes to create high-quality wood products according to customer specifications. Your main tasks may include:

• Machine monitoring and operation of CNC machines and other production equipment
• Loading and surface quality improvement of finished products
• Handling of conveyor belts, cranes, forklifts, and other aids
• Quality control and problem-solving
• Maintenance and care of machines and workstations, including tool changes, machine inspections, and lubrication

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical education equivalent to high school level, for example in industrial technology, or equivalent experience
• Is computer literate and comfortable working in an automated environment
• Has good physical condition and enjoys work that may involve heavy lifting
• Takes initiative, is meticulous, and works well in a team
• Has a safety-conscious attitude and contributes to a positive work environment
• Has previous experience in the process industry – advantageous but not required
